Each day brings new adventure, challenges, growth and opportunity. Having a morning ritual that supports your spirit will help you meet these blessings + lessons with grace and awareness. Today we're sharing our top 5 ways to root down, get to the source and begin with love.
10 minutes of reading from your favorite soul-food book or teacher. A few of our current favorites: A Course In Miracles, Byron Katie, Michael Brown and Gabrielle Bernstein. Taking the time to do this will help you deepen your connection to spirit and bring you back to your core values.
Work it out! It’s amazing what a little blood flow and exercise can do for you mood. You'll release endorphins, get your lymphs releasing and greet the beauty that surrounds you. Even if you only have time for 10 pushups and 50 jumping jacks, do it and feel your mood shift.
Feed your body with beauty. By starting your day off with food that is heathy and full of life, you will be setting up your body to vibe at a high level. Every cell will be thanking you for feeding it well. You become what you eat; be colorful, organic and real!
Yoga is a wonderfully healthy morning ritual that supports your health on many different levels. Body, mind and spirit are all engaged. Doing a short flow (or long flow) daily is a lovely way to connect, heal and love your body.
Begin with gratitude. Make a list of 5 things, people, events, musings you feel gratitude for. It can be very simple; I feel gratitude for my pillow! Whatever you feel love and thankful for. Write it down and keep a journal of these things. This small ritual has the power to change your day, daily!
