SIMPLE OVERNIGHT OAT RECIPE

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It sets the mood of your body, your energy and even your mind power up for the day. Our adult mornings are often hurried with life, kiddos and work deadlines. This is your new go to sit it and forget super healthy plant-based breakfast for the whole family. Moms, we're talking to you! Make it the night before in 5 min flat! Sit in the fridge and wake up with time to spare. 

SIMPLE  OVERNIGHT OAT RECIPE

SERVES 3-4

2 cups gluten-free sprouted oats

1/4 cup chia seeds

4 cups Local Juicery Classic Almond Mylk

1/3 cup maple syrup or 1-2 droppers of stevia for a low glycemic version 

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon Moon Juice Reishi powder (sold at our Flagstaff Location)

1 scoop of favorite protein (optional)

1/4 cup dried mulberries 

1/2 teaspoon pink salt

METHOD

In a blender combine almond mylk, maple syrup, cinnamon, reishi, protein if using and salt. Blend until combined. Pour over oats, add mulberries, stir and let sit for at least an hour (even better overnight). Top with fruit and favorite superfoods!
